Tecumseh is a smallish town in SE Michigan. For all its smallness, it has an awesome selection of main street shops, including two of our favorites: The British Tea Pantry and Boulevard Market. The Tea Pantry is shop and cafe, and they offer lunch and afternoon tea. Jo, Shane, and I enjoyed a nice lunch there (I had a pot of peach ginger black tea and a nice Ploughman's) and then we wandered over to Boulevard Market for this:

Fantastic cheeses, both imported and local (and this isn't all of them; just one case of three). The staff is friendly and accommodating, offering slivers of cheeses to try with wild abandon. We brought some home for dinner.

There is also a fantastic used book shop and hobby store (both closed on Sundays) and a winery shop and coffee place that are wonderful too.

It's worth the scenic drive from Ann Arbor, particularly in summer when everything is green and the farm land is a feast for the eyes.
